We are not doctors and what members share in the group is not medical advice

It is a space to share our personal experiences and learn from each other.

Remember that every brain injury is different and what has worked for you might not work for others.

Be respectful and kind to each other and listen to the stories that your fellow members choose to share.

Do your best to not dominate the conversation during the video meetings, so that everyone will get a chance to share.

One person speaks at a time during the video meetings, and it is the moderator's job to mute and un-mute participants.

This is a safe space

Respect each other's privacy and confidentiality. This means what is said in the group should stay in the group.

It is okay not to share

Sharing by the participants in the video meetings is strongly encouraged, but optional.

Sharing in your group's message board is optional, for both participants and listeners.

The video meetings are never recorded

Meeting summaries will be available to members on the message board after the meetings. The summaries will not contain any personal information and are only intended to be a reminder of the helpful strategies that were shared during the meeting.
